TrogTOR

 

Without a doubt, TrogTOR was a unique robot. It used a large folding arm that both helped intake the balls, and shoot them into the high goals. It took home the Creativity Award at the Los Angeles Regional. In the same year, FIRST Tech Challenge Team 4512 expanded into FRC Team 5124, our sister team at West Torrance Robotics, and we were able to compete alongside them for the first time. TrogTOR takes its name from a certain YouTube video well-liked by the team members at the time:
