Our latest creation, BanTOR III, is one powerful machine. The telescoping climber never failed to raise this beautiful bot. This robot also featured an unstoppable 6 Neo west coast drivetrain, that quickly zipped this little machine across the field. BanTOR III utilized a 5 ball autonomous mode to rank 3rd at the 2020 Los Angeles Regional and went all the way to the finals with teams 5124 and 2576. Unfortunately, this robot never got to compete at Champs (Thanks COVID, love you), however we did take our first-ever Chairman's Award at the cancelled Sacramento Regional.

TORus
This robot was very close to taking the TorBots to Houston two years in a row. After ranking 54th at the Los Angeles Regional, TORus came back in the play-offs and accomplished every task it set out to do, making it to semi-finals. TORus had a rather unique Hab 3 climb, utilizing large pistons on the back of the robot to lift its 125 pound mass. At the Las Vegas Regional, it narrowly lost in semi-finals. However at that event, we ranked third and climbed in nearly every single match we played. This robot also marked the first time we competed at the prestigious Chezy Champs off-season competition.
