Our latest creation, BanTOR III, is one powerful machine. The telescoping climber never failed to raise this beautiful bot. This robot also featured an unstoppable 6 Neo west coast drivetrain, that quickly zipped this little machine across the field. BanTOR III utilized a 5 ball autonomous mode to rank 3rd at the 2020 Los Angeles Regional and went all the way to the finals with teams 5124 and 2576. Unfortunately, this robot never got to compete at Champs (Thanks COVID, love you), however we did take our first-ever Chairman's Award at the cancelled Sacramento Regional.

LobsTOR
One of the most successful robots in the team's history, LobsTOR brought TorBots back to the World Championship for the first time since 2018. With the unique claw design that could manipulate both coral and algae with ease, LobsTOR made its mark in history by winning the Los Angeles Regional, clawing through finals at the Central Valley Regional, and ranking 3rd in the Archimedes Division at Houston. In addition, the team was awarded the Autonomous Award at both regionals thanks to our innovative Software Team.

Digital Animation Award 2nd Place
TorBots' Animation team displayed success for the third time in a row, awarded 2nd Place for the Digital Animation Award with their submission, "Off-Wheeled!"
Guided by the theme "Dive", the story follows a robot who discovers a new part of itself from diving into a new experience.
Judge Notes: "Great job! We loved how the camera animation moved to the beat of the music. Fantastic use of color. Very stylish."
